The Rockwell hosts shows ranging from Shakespeare to burlesque to local music.
The Rockwell is located in Davis Square, a hotbed of nightlife, outdoor markets, and arts-centric events, in Somerville, Massachusetts, which has more artists per capita than any other city in the United States barring New York City. Located just steps away from The Davis Square “T” (subway) station. Formerly The Davis Square Theatre and Jimmy Tingle’s Off Broadway, the basement-level theater resembles a black box theater. Accommodating up to 175 people, it is an intimate space that plays host to over 500 performances annually.
